48th Annual Jack Buck Golf Classic
The Jack Buck Golf Classic, presented by Vogel Heating & Cooling, will take place on August 13th and 14th at the exclusive Country Club of St. Albans. The Golf Classic is the longest-running charity golf tournament west of the Mississippi. The tournament was started by the CF Foundation’s Honorary Chairman Jack Buck. The Golf Classic is comprised of two events – the Jack Buck Classic Dinner & Auction on Sunday night and the Jack Buck Golf Tournament on Monday morning.
The Jack Buck Classic Dinner on Sunday night is an entertaining evening out at the country club, even if you aren’t a golfer. The night includes a cocktail reception with complimentary wine and beer, a seated dinner, live and silent auctions and more. The night begins at 4:30pm with the cocktail reception and concludes around 8:30pm.
Monday’s golf tournament activities start at 7am with registration, complimentary breakfast, a putting contest, complimentary golf lessons and more. Arrive early to take advantage of all of the pre-tournament activities! The scramble-format tournament begins with a 9:00am shotgun start. While golfing, players enjoy complimentary soda, beer, water and iced tea.
The award-winning Country Club of St. Albans is regarded as one of the finest country clubs in the Midwest and has been recognized as one of the top 200 private country clubs out of 5,000 in the United States.
